第38课 坚持安康!
1A lot of kids like reading, watching TV and listening to music.
许多孩子喜爱读书、看电视和听音乐。
That's great! We should exercise our minds.
那太好了!咱们大约训练咱们的心智。
School is great for building our minds.
学校是树立心智的好当地。
But what about our bodies?
那么咱们的身体呢?
1.1kid和child两者的词性和运用场合不一样;
①kid作名词时:意为成人;年青人;且指年岁较小的孩子;作动词时:意为捉弄;开玩笑;还可作为描述词:意为小妹或弟弟;
②child只能用作名词,意为成人;孩子,可指任何年岁的成人;
③kid常用于口语中;而child适用于书面语较多。kid与以下词性连用
fat kid肥胖儿童
friendly kid友爱的孩子
good kid好孩子
little kid成人子
new kid新来的孩子
nice kid好孩子
poor kid穷孩子
smart kid聪明的孩子
young kid年幼的孩子
raise a kid抚育孩子
school kid学童;大学生
1.2like doing sth.喜爱干某事。
1.3exercise one's mind训练大脑
1.4be great for=be good for对……有优点。
1.5build one's mind打开智力。
1.6What about…?是一句常用的客套话,后边可接名词或动词-ing方法,功用有许多:
①问询情况或探问消息,当对方谈的作业不清楚,需要问询理解时,也可用这一句型。 I'd like a cup of tea. What about you?
②向对方提出主张或恳求,恰当于句型Would you like…? 口气很宛转。
如:What about having some bread?=Would you
like some bread?
③问长问短时用作承受上下文的转机语。如: I'm a student. What about you?
④问询气候或身体等情况。如: What about the weather in your city?
⑤寻求对方的观点或定见。如: What about this bike?

3 Running helps us remember information.跑步能协助咱们回想信息。
Walking can improve our thinking skills.走路
能前进咱们的思考技能。
Exercise can keep our brains young.
训练能让咱们的大脑坚持年青。
3.1Running动名词作主语,谓语动词用奇数。
3.2remember动词,记住
①remember to do sth.记住要做某事(该事还未做)。
remember not to do sth.记浔不要做某事。
②remember doing sth.记住做过某事(作业现已做过了)。
3.3information不可以数名词,信息。
a piece of information一条信息。
3.4improve one's thinking skills前进思维才能。
thinking skills思维才能。
3.5keep our brains young使咱们大脑坚持年青。其间描述词young作宾语补足语。
