Well I guess it depends on people of different age groups. Old people enjoy going to the park. They often play chess or go square-dancing. But young people are more into something more entertaining like going to the bar or watching films.

I think people in my hometown like shopping. Because shopping is very interesting. And people can buy something they want.

这个回答的问题我们上次讲过，就是所说的“幼龄化逻辑”。说得太general了。言之无物。

Part 3:

Why there’s a generation gap between the old and the young?

这个题表面是个原因题，但是我们只要说清楚老年人和年轻人的一些不同，就是一个很好的回答。不同造成了共同点少，然后就有了generation gap。

I guess the reason is that old people and young people have totally different mindset so they have few things in common.

Old people are normally a little stubborn. It’s hard for them to adapt to new things. Because they have lived a long life and they don’t want anything to be changed. But in contrast, young people are very open-minded and they always want to try something different. They are much more adventurous cuz they were born and being raised in modern times when there was no war or famine, which has made the young more self-involved and worry-free.

So this is why they have all the conflicts and misunderstandings. And this generation gap issue is hard for them to find a way out.

Because the young and the old are at different time of life. They have different opinions on many things. So they have generation gap.
